LEARNING ACTIVITY #3: EDUCATIONAL ASSESSMENT PAPER

Read Chapter 6 in the Neukrug & Fawcett textbook.

Write a 1-2 page paper outlining the functions and applications of both the diagnostic tests and cognitive ability tests.

To achieve maximum points for content and analysis, the following elements need to be thoroughly addressed.

  • Describe four of the cognitive ability tests and their uses.
  • Note two differences between diagnostic tests and cognitive ability tests.
  • Provide at least two sources. Citations to the dictionary should be provided on top of the required two sources. The Bible should not be listed in the References page, but does have to be cited in-text.
  • Use the Paper Writing rubric provided in the syllabus to ensure you have met all of the criteria.

LEARNING ACTIVITY #5: ASSESSMENT REPORT

Write a 1-2 page assessment report based on the information from last week’s two submission responses and following the Global Criteria 12-16 from Chapter 5 of your Herdman textbook.

To achieve maximum points for content and analysis, the following elements need to be thoroughly addressed.

  • Brief summary of the case based on the history gathered.
  • How the individual meets DSM-5 Dimensional Criteria for a diagnosis.
  • Selection of assessments tools and why.
  • Brief description of the client’s strengths and weaknesses.
