Discuss your thoughts and observations of adolescent thinking and risk-taking behavior.   Use the key terms from chapter.  Describe examples of Piaget’s stage of adolescence accomplishments by name (3 terms at least) and Elkind’s explanation of adolescent egocentrism again by name (3 terms at least).  Describe at least one example of cognition and adolescent egocentrism based on your own experience or observations.  Discuss how these kinds of thinking contribute to both the awesome things teens do and some of the unfortunate things they do.Have

RUBRIC:  An excellent paper explain both Piaget’s and Elkind’s contributions to understanding adolescents’ rational and irrational thinking.  It will have 2-4 paragraphs and be well written and spelled.  It will include all the key terms about these two major concepts.  Good papers will also provide real world examples of the concepts discussed.  (50 points)
