Then, write at least 300 words (total) and include all references for the following points:
1) Select a portion of the brain that you find the most interesting. For example, that could be the occipital cerebral cortex. Why is this part of the brain most interesting to you? I expect that there are enough parts of the brain that you and your classmates will not be repeating yourselves.
2) Describe the structure and function of this part.
3) Describe what would happen if somehow this part of the brain had to be removed or was damaged. What would happen to your behavior? What functions would you be missing? Are there any specific diseases that affect this part of the brain?
