Students are to develop a 2 page job description and contract for a desired APN role (nurse executive, nurse practitioner, nurse educators, nurse anesthetist, clinical nurse specialist, nurse midwife). The job description/contract must include the following sections: brief specific role description, essential responsibilities, minimum qualifications, and experience. The following information should also be specified: education, training, and certification. The contract portion of the assignment should include the following sections if applicable based on the specific: terms and termination, compensation, continuing education, malpractice, billing and fees, compliance regulation, and non-discrimination.
