Part-Time Employees v. Full-Time Employees
Many employers at this point in time are reducing the number of full time employees and hiring part time employees in their stead.
The employer states that this is due to the greater flexibility of having part time individuals (e.g. easier to schedule, covering call-offs, etc.).
On the flip side, critics argue that this is only a ploy to not have to pay for benefits which ultimately saves the employer a lot of money.
