Solar Energy Engineering-IV and QE curves

Giving the two Excel spreadsheets and the information below finalized the IV and QE curves.

IV Curve:

Calculate the efficiency of this device, along with the 2nd level parameters Voc, Jsc, and FF. Test conditions are STC: 300K, AM1.5G spectrum, 1cm2 device area.

QE Curve:

Same test conditions as the IV curve, and at 0V. Calculate the Jsc that you would expect from this QE curve by integrating the product of the QE and the Solar Spectral Irradiance, multiplied by the fundamental charge q. The answer should match your answer from the IV curve.

CLARIFICATION: The AM1.5G solar spectral irradiance is published in units of W/m2/nm. In order to calculate the Jsc from the QE curve and AM.15G spectrum, we need to convert that W/m2/nm to photons/m2/nm. You can do that using the known relationship between the energy of a photon and its wavelength. This needs to be done for each wavelength in the AM1.5G spectrum. Once you have photons/m2/nm then you can multiply by the QE, which is in #electrons/#photons and integrate over wavelength to get the Jsc.
