Solve the problem from Shigley’s Mechanical Engineering Design

The figure shows the free-body diagram of a connecting-link portion made of AISI 1020 having stress concentration at three sections. The dimensions are =0.25 n, =0.40 n, ℎ=0.50 n, 1=3.50 n, and 2=3.0 n. The forces F fluctuate between a tension of A kip and a compression of 1B kip. (A is the first number of your CWID (which is 8 in this case), and B is the last number of your CWID(which is 1); for example, for a CWID 888929723, A=8, B=-13)

so in my case A would be 8, and B would be 1

Find:

a) Calculate Marin factors;

b) Calculate Kf based on the stress concentration caused by the hole. And Calculate Kf based on the stress concentration caused by the shoulder fillet. Show your calculation.

c) Run the static study. (1) Show the stress diagram with maximum and minimum von-mises stress. (2) Show the fatigue check plot

d) Run the fatigue study using Kf calculated from the hole. (1) Show the life diagram with the maximum and minimum value. (2) Show the load factor diagram with maximum and minimum value.

e) Run the fatigue study using Kf calculated from the shoulder fillet. (1) Show the life diagram with the maximum and minimum value. (2) Show the load factor diagram with maximum and minimum value.

I have attached the problem question.

I need the answer to be a %100 correct. Thanks.
